Stamford Man, 28, Assaults Woman During Argument In Greenwich, Police Say

Screams pierced the night as officers were called when a woman could be heard shouting for help during a domestic dispute in Greenwich, police said.

Multiple units from the Greenwich PD were dispatched to a West Elm Street home at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, when there was a report of a loud altercation with a woman screaming for help.

Police said that the investigation into the alleged incident determined that Stamford resident Kadeem Sadio, 28, assaulted the female victim. Investigators found that Sadio allegedly had been involved in a loud argument, causing his victim distress and harm.

Sadio was subsequently located by investigators from the Stamford Police Department and arrested. Sadio was charged with assault and breach of peace. His bond has been set at $2,500 and he is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Monday to respond to the charges.
